Let's stop these provocations.

Franklin, no offense guy, but if you want a "drag racer" an E30 M3 is
probably the wrong choice. Save your 1K and buy a Chebby or Mudstang or

any ol' American iron from the late '60s and have a ball! Put the E30
M3 up for sale here on the digest, take the money and add it your 1K and

have at it on the quarter mile. Not quite blasphemy to make the M3 a
dragster, but you are going to be embarassed by a lot of lesser makes in

this forum! But, take 'em to Summit Point, Mid Ohio, any road course
and show 'em what the E30 M3 is really all about!

Chuck,
Ok, I agree with you completely that the E30 M3 is NOT a drag racer
by any means and trying to use it as such is against its intended
purpose; however, I can almost guarantee you that the author of this
comment wrote it with the intention of saying that he wants to make his
car accelerate faster (who doesn't)!? Ok, so why provoke the guy or
anyone into flaming him over this subtle matter of diction? right?
Besides, it's his car and he can do whatever he wishes with it. So, my
point is that your comment had no other point except to piss this guy
off and start a flame war; it was therefore inapropriate. By any means,
it was a waste of bandwith!!!!!(how it did it contribute to the
knowledge of BMWs)? Mike
