E36 M3 Short Shift & X-Brace ~ info request

Sorry for asking this long-time ago questions again:

I'm interested in getting a Short Shift Kit and X-Brace for my '94 E36/2 M3
and have heard a lot of advantages about them.
Please kindly assist to advise the so-far your / BMW digest preference of :

Short Shift Kit:
Choice 1    BL/SS ( and required BMW parts no., if possible )
Choice 2    AC Schnitzer

X-Brace :
required BMW parts no. ( is this from the M3 Convertible / LTW? )
Is this going to affect the engine submarinaztion protection during
collision, if installed?

Will this also work on '94 325iS E36/2 with Springs, Shocks, Sway Bars and
Top Strut Brace
