Depends... ;-)

Some cars have engine blocks that self destruct due to inferior metallurgy.
Some cars are built from parts that lives at opposite ends of an engineering
spec.  Some cars are abused early in life (this is important to used car
buyers).  Some cars just quit from time to time.

Tha's life... so what I suggest is to rev it up like us 745i owners and
shift at 6300 rpm, maintain speed and grin.  Remember that repairing your
ride is always cheaper than buying a new car unless that is what you want to
do, then it is always better to buy a new car than be "nickle and dime'd" by
your existing car.

168K miles of fun and fury so far...
