Some History, Please

Hello Bimwads,

I know there are more important things to ponder, but I have wondered
for some time, why no 4 series?  We've had 1's (1502, 1602, 1800) 2's
(2000cs, 2800cs, 2002) 3's (E-21, 30, 36, 46) 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's, and 
rumor of an upcoming 9 series.  Why no 4's?
