<WOB>a brief message about boxers

Not to rethread this string, but....

I was wasting my life away on the WWW (check the time stamp), and stumbled
upon www.ferrari.com (by way of the Panoz site), and found out this
about the famous boxer engine, as found in the US spec. Testarossa:

Flat, Boxer, and 180* Vee mean the same thing (at least to Ferrari), and
it is; all aluminum with nikasil cylinder sleeves, 4942cc, , double
overhaed cams, four valves (quattrovalvoli), Bosch KE Jetronic injection
(hey, that's not like the K Jetronic in my little ole' 318i is it?), and
has 380hp, and 354ft-lb of torque (obviously not!).

They used the boxer configuration because it "has compact height, high
torque, and natural vibration damping". (No, not dampening, damping).
The other versions of the boxer used were similar, but with different bore
& stroke, slightly different block casting, etc., and of course hp and
torque.

There you have it.
More than you wanted to know, but don't blame me, you read down this far!
