HELP: E34 White smoke

Hi guys,
I have a question regarding my '90 BMW 535i, when outside
temperature drops about below 60 degrees Fahrenheit white smoke (steam)
appears coming out from the rear exhaust. Normally, white steam indicates
either failed cylinder head gasket or cracked cylinder head (block). In my
case I never add coolant to the system, coolant level remains the same all
the time. When I change oil I don't see any coolant in it. So, that must
be something else. What could cause this problem???????
Thank you very much.

Best regards
Anatoly Z.
