quick comment re "fake chips"

guys, please be very careful about comments with respect to Mesa and Jim C.
chips; please don't start any rumors or anything.

i will reveal, on this list only, that the legal threat i got was on a list
other than this one (not bmw related), and it had to do with list member
comments about disatisfaction with a vendor -- the vendor took offense, and
chose to come after krusty and wizvax as well as the author of the remarks.

krusty and wizvax are protected by federal law, but it still costs a $120
letter from my lawyer, and more if the vendor and their lawyer are
boneheaded and tenacious.
