Anyone ever use an E28 wheel bearing on an E30 M3 without changing the ABS
sensor ring? The alleged story from FAG (according to WAWD/EAP and
Metrix/Parts Warehouse) is that there's no problem although I strongly have
my doubts. Many of the parts wholesalers are selling the E28/E24 bearing
under both part numbers, sometimes with a $50.00 price difference for the
same boxed part. SD (PS-the E30 M3 wheel bearing is on national backorder
with BMWNA)
