E36 cruise control not working

Greetings fellow bimwads!

I recently posted a message about my cruise control not working and 
someone recommended to pull back my clutch pedal to see if it would 
activate the microswitch. Unfortunately this did not work and my cruise  
control still does not function.  Are there any relays or fuses that 
anyone knows of that I could check before I take it in to the stealer?  
I would appreciate any input on this subject. TIA!!!
