Rob,
    I believe that the E34's used to have wiper inserts of different length on the left
and
right side, with the right one slightly longer. The newer ones (93, maybe 94 onward)
have
same length ones on both wipers. Anyway, the answer to your problem would be to get
the correct length inserts for the right side wiper.
