E28 Sunroof Inop, and other elect switches...

Hi:
I have an 88 535is.  Recently, the sunroof will not open.  Additionally, the
passenger window is off/on as it goes up like the electrical contact is
questionable.  The sunroof has exibited these symptoms previously, for short
periods of time, and then the sunroof works again.  It has not worked for
awhile now.  Do you think the switch contacts may be corroded, or the the
motor contacts are questionable, or any other possiblities?
