Is your car a euro import model? My euro has the aux fan
wired to the A/C switch. The normal pair of temp sensors in
the top right of the radiator have blanking plugs. 

You may want to convert to the US spec twin temp sensors if
this is the case. There are two as the fan can run if low or
high speed modes and I think there are several temperature
ranges you can choose when you buy your sensor.
