E34 Wheel Bearing Replacement

I have a 1990 E34 525i and lately the cars seem a lot noisier. its like a humming sound when you are
crusing around. I first suspected the tyres coz they were almost worned out so I replaced them with a
set of new Dunlop SP Sport 8000 (235/45/17). The humming noise is still there, I suspect it might be
worn out wheel bearing. Anyone know how to tell if it is the wheel bearing that is causing the noise?
If it is the wheel bearings, is it difficult to replace them?. TIA.
