heart breaker

Hi List,
A friend's 533i, 5 spd, Bronzit, 184,000 mi was hit by a 944.  The Left Rear
Quarter Panel and Left rear door are toast.  Insurance company totaled it.
His dilema is whether he should buy it back (very reasonable) and have it on a
Salvage Title, or look for a good home for it.  He is in San Diego and the car
is in Fresno and he really doesn't have time or space for a project now.  Any
thoughts?
