administrivia: mci error messages improve, film at 11

i can't say as it's something i accomplished, but in starting to work
through this morning's great steaming heap of email, i suddenly found a
decent bounce message from MCI, and was able to remove the offending address.

to all the MCI email users who see this: your provider just got a great
deal more "mailing list friendly", from what i can see.
