E36 hesitation for 3-5 minutes only - Why??

Hi,

I just did a major tune-up/inspection on E36/320, ie:
. sparks
. Fuel filter. Oil filter, Micro filter
. Manual gear oil
. belts

Only when car is cold, it hesitates for 3-5 minutes when driving.  As car
gets warmer, hesitation stops.  What are my next steps to nail this
problem? 

I'm using 91-94 Octane gas.
