(e36) strut tower question

i noticed that my right side strut tower is a little more bubbled on the
top than the left side.  i asked my dealer about it and he said its
probably because i hit something pretty hard on the right side.  is this
something than needs immediate attention?  i really havent noticed any
drastic change in ride.  please advise.  thanks.
