<'95 E36 M3> Piston slap.

Hi,

I have heard about the piston slap that occus on the E36 M3s, but I don't 
know what a good solution to the problem is.

I have heard that adding extra oil will solve the problem.
I have done this, and it seems like this does not really solve the problem.

Has anyone taken the car in to the dealer, and if so, what did the dealer 
do to fix it. And how much $$$ is involved.

Unfortunately, my warrenty has run out and any repairs will be a out-of-poket
expense.

Also, is this a E36 M3 problem or is it specific to '95 M3s.

Any advise/comment is greatly appreciated.
