Air Intakes/Heat Shields

I put a K&N cone filter on my 95 318i about a month ago and I have been
wanting to instal a heat shield.  I would much rather fabricate one my
self than buy one. So if any of you have a list of the necessary parts
and instructions for making one please post them to the digest.  Thank
