You say you're gonna drive it around Boston.  Is this going to be your ONLY
car, or will you have a winter beater too?

While the performance minded will say get the M Roadster, if you have no
other car, get the Z3 2.8.  The M Roadster does NOT have traction control,
and you will likely kill yourself trying to get around Boston when first
snow falls.  Short wheel base, too much power and Z rated tires are all a
formula for a big spin.

Or, if you REALLY want it, get the M Roadster and a cheap winter beater.
