RE: <E30> wheels



Changing the lugs with the car on the ground isn't as bad as it sounds,
though better to jack slightly.  Hubcentric wheels rest on the hub ring
in front of the wheel bearing, while lugcentric relies only on the lugs
alone to center and support.  With BMW hubcentrics, one at a time would
be no problem, but all off and then on would be risky (don't shake the
car ;-) and the holes could shift.  Obviously, this method can't be done
with lugcentric ones.
