<E36 M3>, dealer in MI, m roadster

posted this yesterday but haven't seen it in 3 digests so here it goes again
- - sorry if it shows up twice.

<<fellow digesters,

i am looking at a e36 m3 built in 3/95 and i was wondering how i could find
out if it had the updated valve retainers. any ideas? is this something i
should even worry about? what types of things should i look for on this
particular model? it seems in good shape but i haven't driven it yet. is
anyone out there familiar with auto-strasse of ann arbor, mi? was wondering
how they were for service, reliability, etc.

drove the m roadster for the drive for the cure event today. holy sheet!!
that's alot of power for such a small package!! it was a swell experience.
good power all the way through the rev band right up till the limiter. i
highly recommend driving one. it was very tight and steering response was
excellent. didn't have very many corners to really try the handling but the
few that were available showed how easliy it held the pavement. what a
trip!!

thanks for any info,
