brake pads and rotors

Anybody knows if the brake warning light comes on first or you hear the
noise constantly first when front pads go away? What is the mileage
expected under normal braking for 92 E36 325i ? Would like to know what
mileage your front brakes and rotors replaced? Please forward to my E-mail
