Greetings all,
I've been thinking of buying an E30 for a while and yesterday I found a
very clean (seems to me) 1986 316 (carb). It reads 78k kms on the
clock and the owner says it is the original mileage. I am thinking of
taking the engine through a pressure test to make that sure.
But the problem is I've never done that before and don't know how to
evaluate the results. Is there a FAQ about this? I also would like to
know if there is anything special to E30s that I should check. Any
info/hint is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
