Good Deal on a 325IS?

I found a 93 325IS Coupe for sale today.  My only concern is for the automatic 
gearbox....   What kind of performance should I expect?  The price is definitely 
tempting at @ 16K.  (or is that a good price?)  The car has 69,000 miles- 
supposedly all highway.  Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this matter!  I 
have an old 1600 and know nothing really about these new ones...

Damn, it sure is a beautiful car!
