Hi Gary.  Yep, you found out that our lowly 528i's were not endowed with
the full-function OBC and clock.  I think it is bad on the part of BMW
to not at least include the 12/24 hour function as well as date.  My old
280zx at least had that function.  All the functions that you mention
are standard with the 540i.  Another list member found out that the
highline OBC is available via special orders so I am sure the same for
the clock functions.  The owners manual is not very clear on the 12/24
hour not being available on the 528i.
