I took my '96 E36 M3 in for the 1200 mile inspection and the only problems were rough idle at start-up for about 30 seconds, tears in both window seals...replaced, paint blemish...buffed out, and rough shifting...checked vin and it's not one of the problem models, but they added syncro shift to the transmission. Is anyone familiar with this syncro shift and how does it work and have there been any problems with it. Thanks Bob Sawyer - -- Windy City M3
