Stewart-Warner makes an adapter kit which will reduce a VDO M10x1.0 thread into
the oil sensor fitting which is a M12x1.5 thread. I'd like to get one.
Where does one find Stewart-Warner equipment? Does anyone have an 800 number
for Stwart-Warner? I tried the 800 directory assistance, no luck.

PS: The VDO catalog shows this item, but they don't actually offer it - not
sure if they did, or just never got around to offering it. Its called a
reducing union. I'm even curious now to see if Stewart-Warner has anything
interesting. The VDO gauges I've had for the last 10 years work OK, but
not perfectly - my Vacuum Gauge which I paid about $50 for is very sticky.
