FYI..at the O'Fest here in DC, at the swap meet, someone had a black E30
which had the cone filter. The difference was, this guy makes a cool air
induction system that consists of aluminum type tubing that rins from the
inside high beam light to the actual cone. Drawback? You have to remove
your high beam headlight leaving an odd looking hole. Maybe someone on this
list remembers specific info on this vendor.
Also, in this months European Car, in the new products section, a vendor has
just made a similiar cool air induction system but it appears to be black
plastic, and has a bigger black plastic cone that fits over the K&N cone. At
least thats what the picture looks like. For now, they only have one for
the Jetta. Other makes/models are to follow.
