<E36 M3> <96>new strut and spring options soon, part deux

An update, finally got in touch with Mike at Dinan's. They
are currently working on a suspension kit for 96 M3's. A customer
sent them his 96 M3 for modifications (blower isn't available
for the 96 though). What i wrote earlier about non-lowering
springs may not apply to 96 M3's because the front spring
perch on the 96 is a different diameter. Vendors will have
to make them in 2 sizes to account for both the 95's and 96's.
The 96 M3 Dinan spring will lower the car about 0.5 inch-
hopefully no more.

Dinan currently modifies Bilstein or Koni struts for the 
front and will do the same for the 96 M3. They had not heard
of the expected Bilstein-designed front strut.
