I've heard that A/C will take about 7 - 10 HP to run. So, depending on
how much power you have, it may seem to take a lot. If you're driving
a car with a 90 HP engine, it can take upwards of 10%. Less of course
with more powerful engines.
The drop with the A/C on in my car ('90 325iC) used to be very annoying.
But, it's not so bad after I installed the Jim C. chip.
Of course, YMMV.
Later...
Larry.
