If you have an alarm system and a neighbor with a code grabber I might
suspect he is just yanking your chain. ;-)
On the other hand, I think BMW uses some kind of sensor to detect if the
car is in a major accident and unlocks the doors so rescuers can get to
you.  If this is true, maybe your sensor is bad.  Someone on this digest
or in the Roundel wrote that there is a sweet spot around the back 
bumper you can whack with a sledge to cause the car to unlock.  I don't
know whether to believe this or not, but I hope there is something now
that BMW has a new glass that you _*CAN'T*_ break.
