<Indiana Speed Limit> - Non BMW related

     
     I thought this might be interested to some of us.
     
     In the Boston Globe, Sat. 7/26/96
     
     A team of 15 Mercedes test drivers were stopped and fine $70.00 each 
     for driving too fast on a no-speed-limit road.  The cop clocked them 
     going faster than 95mph, and commented that eventhough there's no 
     speed limit posted, they should not go that fast.  There were no 
     explanations (in the report) why they were fined.
     
     According the report, these drivers are part of the Mercedes team who 
     are testing new cars in high altitude area.
