Spinning the wheels independently in the air will cause the control
unit to register a fault if a working wheel is spun.  If the light
stayed off when the left wheel was spun, that means that the left
front sensor is probably not working/has a broken wire/etc.  The
right front is sending a signal, and is causing the computer to think
that the left front and rear sensors are not registering.

I'd guess a bad connection, broken wiring, or the sensor is broken.
Or maybe the sensor is too far away from the hub.  Any of this could
have happened if they weren't careful when servicing the strut.
