300 ft at 80+ mph is the perfect distance for the "two" of you to collect
simo tickets, and the ain't no room to go from a standing stop and get in
between unless you're being launched from a carrier - 0 to 180 in 1.5 sec.
Hell, man, the equipment I drive is damn near that long... Give a couple
thousand feet to be safe.

I have to agree with you about the German drivers. They are "aware" of
other's relative positions, and treat them with repect. It would help a lot
here if we would arrest 55mphers in the left lane.There is a need to awaken
them. Also, we have a lack of the German respect. This ought to start
something. Pet peeve - Chicago - extremely aggressive "drivers" totally
unsmooth and often dangerous, trying to get there fast like they do in So Cal
(on the rare times when traffic will allow), but with none of the talent.
Then again, they only shoot people for their money and not their lack of
ability on the Chi roads.

The Canadians come to the US when they need something done now.Be extremely
careful when crossing an intersection in Milan on foot - I know...

Nudity (BMW's?) on the beaches of this country does exist if you look for it.
Blacks, North Beach @ MIA, etc. But you're right, it's America's archaic
preoccupation with sex that works on our guilt. Take a quickee vacation to
the French side of St. Maartin and check out Orient Beach. It'll clear out
your head.
