Hmmm, never had trouble with mine, just used a longer and longer lever
arm once until it broke free. (no, not broke OFF :)) It took about
60 lb-ft on a tiny 8mm bolt! It was rather crusty, though, and a lot
of anti-sieze later, it was reinstalled.
