Yes, I'm having the noise problem with my L/S Diff. too. Although I haven't yet added the GM additive, I bet it will be fine. I think that Red Line saying that it is compatible is somewhat of a face saving admission that there may be added noise. Next time, however, I will probably use the BMW OEM lube -- no additives, no guesswork, no problems!
