carbs for 2000cs

Hi. At last a question that I know the answer to! The main wear area for an old 
carb is usually where the throttle shaft enters the body. Specialists can fit a 
sleeve for a modest cost. The reason I know that is that the 4 barrel Solex 
fitted to my big six was out of adjustment and I looked into getting a 
replacement - until I found out that was going to cost NZ$4500 (that was *not* a
mistake) and then I had someone look at reconditioning it - but it didn't even
