[bmw] E28 535is loss of power

Dear Digesters,

I was out the other day with my 87 535is and every time I
took a harder left or right turn and accelerated hard (2nd
gear) from about 25mph the engine would momentarily loose
power as I passed through 4500 rpm.  In a straight line this
doesn't happen.  It felt more like fuel starvation rather
than ignition cut-out.  The fuel tank was at just below 1/2.
Engine is healthy, just turning 113,000 miles.

All ignition parts have been replaced, cap, rotor, wires and
plugs.

I don't know status of fuel filter at this time but plan to
change it.  The car has two fuel pumps, could one be bad?
The relays for the fuel pump have been changed.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
