Gerry,
A torque wrench is the only proper way to tighten your lugs
properly. If you use an air wrench they will be way too tight and
as you know hard to remove. Also an air wrench can stretch the
studs past their yeild and cause them to break. I would recommend
buying one or borrowing one when you put your wheels on. Auto Zone
loans tools out so you might be able to borrow one from them. You will
also want to retorque then periodically.
