A few years back, a friend pushed some combination of buttons and made his OBC show the amount of fuel remaining. The OBC knows that number because it's part of the calculation of miles remaining on the tank. So how do we show the gals or liters of fuel remaining?

It can, I do it all the time. You have to hold one button in, think it is the right button, for like 12 seconds, then it will go into a test mode, now scroll to I think its TEST 6 using the other button I think, now press the first button again to display amount of fuel in tank, if its not Test6, its test 6 or close to there.

Measured in liters.

Search archives for full details on everything that is in there, there is a writeup on the 540 OBC and how to access the panel and look at this information, including a DIGITAL SPEEDO! (km/h only though)

Any other usefull info can be pulled out of OBC using same procedure?

Any links one can suggest to get some more information on this?

Thank you,

Fred
