RE: e12/e28 tranny questions



E12 5 speeds were Getrag 265s.  They have a reverse gear that requires a
special 30 ton press to remove.  Blanton Transmissions can rebuild your
Trans.  There are a number of good used ones available from different
sources at a price considerably lower than rebuilding.  These same trans
also came in 535s as well.
