stereo upgrade for e36

Greetings,

I just purchased a 96 328is with 22,000 miles.  It runs great, but the stereo 
is horrible.  It doesn't have the premium HK sound.

I've got a Blaupunkt Sydney head unit from my e28 I was thinking of 
installing.  Does anyone have a link to the speaker/stereo wiring for these cars?  I'm 
thinking the car needs new speakers too.  Anyone have any speaker 
recommendations that won't break the bank?

I understand the rear deck is set up for 4" dia. speakers, and Crutchfield 
has a couple of options under $100 a pair.
