about double flares working better than single flares...
in general, the 45 degree automotive flares are supposed to be double
flares. single flaring should only be done in the 37 degree AN system,
for the -3 and -4 sizes (brake and clutch.) i've gotten away with single
flaring in 37 degree -6 fuel line, but that's not a guaranteed deal by
any means.
