Hello all..
Quick question.. I have had my hood off the Spider a few times in the
past year, the first time I put it back on, it lined up perfectly and I
was pretty impressed with myself.. OK, I kinda had help in that marks
in the paint on the hinges were still pretty visable and I lined up with
those..
Second time.. (had to put the metal plate piece that seals the front top
of the radiator back, not very easy withthe hood on) I ended up making
a few passes at it before I got it right.. wiping out my cheat marks.
Now, it dosent match up front, the hood is slightly lower than the body
line of the nose. I may have the hood "back" (slid towards the rear of
th car) now from perfect, but it seems like going "forward" might make
things worse, unless it's counter intuitive.
Any hints on getting my hood back to it's former great fit?
