Re: [alfa] carb synchroniser tool



Thanks Bruce.  I thought about making a U$3.10 4-tube manometer but unless
the source tank is sealed from atmosphere the tubes would need to be rather
long.  The sealed tank would also need an air space or the fluid would not
move.

I've heard that the front throat of the front Dell'Orto pulls less (or more)
vacuum than the other three ?  Something to do with the vacuum takeoff. Are
the twin Dell'Ortos, say off an early Euro Alfetta,  different PNs ?   If
this is so I'm not sure how one can synch the carbs without absolute values
of inches-of-mercury or inches-of-water etc.  Using the $1.55 balancing
technique would not work ( would it ?)
