[alfa] Flat towing a Spider?

Does anyone know if there is any risk of damage to a '77 Spider's transmission
if it is towed, four-wheels down, for 200 miles? Last time I towed for that
distance I disconnected the drive shaft but I'd rather not do that again
unless it is absolutely necessary. Thanks for the info. Ralph
