Thanks Bill.  My foam insulation is about 3/4" thick ! It makes the trim
look 'puffy' like an overstuffed couch.   Still, it may be close to original
for a '67.  Not a big issue, though foam tends to hold water.

The second query was about the strap which attaches to the top of the
transmission tunnel, and is used to secure the folded roof.  It loops thru a
metal slotted piece at the centre-front edge of the roof and is used to
retain the top in the folded (down) position as they tend to climb up at
speed.  I have neither the strap, nor any visible attachment on the floor.
There is a small elongated hole in the rear mat where I presume some form of
catch pokes up from underneath.
