[alfa] water in GTV-6 doors & speaker installation

Hody, Folks!

Since both subjects have come up recently, thought I'd throw in my .02.

The plastic liners in the doors and the rear side panels are vapor
barriers. Most inept car audio installers/knuckleheads have _no_idea_ of
what those things are there for, nor would they be likely to care if they
did, so they cut holes in them with complete disregard to the possibility
of future damage. (IMHO, car stereo installers are 99.99% incompetant, but
that's another subject....) The inevitable result is irreversible water
damage to the press-board door and side panels.

The moral of the story, as always, if you have a car you care about, be
_careful_ who you let work on it.
