[alfa] Victory by design and air fuel

According to http://www.speedtv.com/programs/192/ the Alfa segment will air 
on Jan 11.  I'm not sure if I can wait that long, especially considering 
the length of the DVD and the digital sound. ;)

As for a/f ratio, 12.5-13:1 is probably ok.  Where that might be too lean 
is if you have to retard the spark to prevent detonation.  Going from 13 to 
12:1 costs a few percent while retarding 5 deg of spark is quite a bit more...

As for that nasty 10.5:1 dip, well, such is the joys of a system you have 
very little control over.  Carbs will do that.
